In boxers, you could retrieve the morning newspaper without raising too many eyebrows. But don't try that in a pair of briefs. Those are a little too tight fitting to wear even to the end of the driveway. Boxer briefs are the best of both worlds – they have a traditional elastic waist with a longer leg.
