Tank Tops

Many men prefer the sleeveless option of tank tops when it comes to tee shirts. Almost invisible under clothing and anything but invisible when it comes to showing off that gym body, most sleeveless tees are cut like tank tops, with a low, wide or square neckline and straps. Straps may be as narrow as an inch or two or the familiar wider straps of classic muscle shirts. Many come in longer lengths to stay tucked in and have a lean, form-fitting silhouette that won't add bulkiness. As an added benefit, tanks are cool and comfortable when temperatures climb.

Tanks are so popular that manufacturers offer them in many fabrics and styles. Some even add a little shaping, with light compression that flattens the stomach and firms up the chest. Tank tee shirts are available in many fabrics, including 100% cotton, cotton blends and poly blends. Choices don't end there, either. Besides basic white, tanks come in classic colors like black and gray as well as bold shades, like taxi yellow, bright red, aqua, light blues, even raspberry. To make shopping even easier, some brands offer tank multi packs of three or more.
