In 2008 in Stockholm, illustrator Viktor Tell had a vision for a brand of fun socks. He shared this vision with friend, Mikael Söderlindh. Soderlindh jumped on board. The men wanted to create a brand with high quality, craftsmanship and creativity. Tell is inspired by playful patterns and designs that come from anything and everything in his environment. Within three weeks of the initial vision, it was brought to life as the pair established the company, found a factory in Turkey and designed the first products. Today, Happy Socks are sold in over 50 countries across every continent.
Happy Socks are making feet so happy they have been featured in media outlets like The New York Times, Elle and Cosmopolitan. Photographer Terry Richardson and Designer Giles Deacon are huge fans. Most of Happy Socks products are produced with a high quality combed cotton. The socks promise to be durable and comfortable while being stylish. Socks go through tough testing before shipping. The company also put the socks through Silicon Washing to ensure they won't shrink and will look great. Happy Socks come in all different prints, lengths, and fabrics such as cotton, hemp, cashmere, and wool. Two new collections of Happy Socks are planned to be produced each year.
