What is a Shelf Bra?  

In lingerie, a shelf bra has the frame of a bra with revealing open cups that expose much or all of the nipples. They typically have a bra band that wraps around the underbust and underwires to offer some support even without the cups. They’re available in a variety of levels of cup coverage depending on how much skin you want to show off.  This bra style can also be called a  cupless, open-cup, half-, or even quarter-cup bra. Firm breast tissue is needed to pull off the most advantageous appearance. They do not come with cup sizes, but not recommended for women larger than a D cup size.
