Low Rise Boxer Briefs

The solution for lower waistlines

The jeans came first, and underwear manufacturers were quick to follow suit. Every generation has a different preference for where their pants sit on them. Back in the ‘40’s they were practically up to a man’s chest, and underwear has had to change right along with it.

Today is no different. Many of the boxer briefs on the market, typically in the trunk-style, are made with a lower rise to accommodate the redefined waist of today: a low-rise boxer brief typically sits just below your waist on your hips.

For an idea of how a  low-rise boxer brief will differ from the rise on your regular boxer briefs you can consult the Fitter’s Guide tab on our merchandise page. Simply lay your boxer briefs flat on a table, note the front and back rise listed for the pair of low-rise underwear that you’re considering purchasing, and measure from the base of the crotch up towards the waistband to see the difference in height, or, if you’re feeling adventurous, purchase them and see for yourself!
