This is a very soft and comfortable thong to wear all day. The wide band styles tend to rest higher and at equal level all around the hips then then other thongs. This one is no exception but the band is good quality and doesn't tend to roll over. I'm 6'2, 200 with a 38 waist so the XL fits me rather well. Andrew from Auburn, NY
