For me the big issue usually is length however when I first ordered this I got a Large, which is what I normally wear. The large was too tight though so I went up a size and it fits perfect. I normally like tight shirts but this was too much so I'd up your size.

It's Under Armour - never had an issue with them before and received another quality product. Fits snug, so you may want to do some crunches first.

This tank is good for wearing as a workout shirt as long as you don't sweat too much. I wore it on a long run, and it was soaked, and the material got heavy and uncomfortable. It's also a bit thick for a rib knit, and if you are in a warm climate, it may be too warm as an undershirt. I also experienced a little snagging (pull) of the material when I brushed my hand along my torso with the Velcro straps of my lifting gloves. It does look good, and is reasonably comfortable, but not the best thing to come out of the usually reliable UA line.
