I ordered these for my husband (5'7" 170#) as this is the only brief he has worn for years. Apparently this was at the same time Munsingwear changed the cut to either a "high rise" or optional "mid rise". Two of the three briefs that arrived were similar in size to those he has always ordered, but the third brief was obviously the new "high rise" brief made in India. It was much too big and uncomfortable. The option of returning the larger one for a "mid rise" is no option at all ... He will not wear a mid-rise that doesn't reach his natural waist line. I guess he will have to switch to a different brand and a different merchant. We are highly displeased with the manufacturer's change. His Room and Her Room can usualy be relied on for exceptional products and service. Munsingwear let us down! Vicki from NH

The Service was great, but the underwear is terrible, the legs have no elastic and they were stretched out 5 minutes after I had put then on. They are so baggy in the leg area that I might as well not have any underwear on.

Munsingwear Response: I have had issues (isolated) where the spandex elastic in the leg bindings was either too thin or non existent. I have replaced them with new production and they were fine. Send him some replacements and we will gladly credit you. "

Have been wearing Munsingwear forever. These new? high rise classic are very long and are really meant for a tall person? For a medium size, they seem awfully big.

Munsingwear Response: Once in a while I receive complaints about our full rise brief being just too high of a rise. But I receive many more compliments than complaints. For that reason we added a new mid-rise version (style MW22-3) that is about 3 inches shorter in the rise. That model seems to do the trick especially on a more trim fit customer. Hope this helps. my mom used to buy these for me when I was in high school and college. After I moved away, I could no longer find Munsingwear, I thought perhaps they were no longer made. I ordered these for my husband. He's been a fan of Munsingwear for years; but the previous order was not as satisfactory as this one. My husband was happy to find that the waist band has been redesigned to be softer, which is an improvement. And the fit was improved as well, not as baggy in the back as these used to be. Some what thinner material then previous purchased briefs. These were made in India. Older briefs were made in Canada. Still like though. Wish they offered a mid rise brief. Tom
