I was thrilled to find these but less than thrilled when they arrived. (Purchased for a woman) First the fit and then the fabric. These are apparently made to fit VERY snug. A large (I like them roomy to sleep in) was like a second skin. I originally thought I ordered boy's instead of men's. I would say order two sizes larger than you think you need if you like a little breathing room. THE FABRIC: Well, it says 100% silk. I am no textile expert but it didn't feel like silk, it is woven in a way I have never seen before and it actually had some 'give' to it like spandex. These were packed and ready to ship back until a teenager decided she had to have them (she's a size 4 - they fit her fine). H. from North Carolina

They look great on, but the waist band is too tight for comfort for me. So if looks are what you want, they're great, but if comfort is important, I don't recommend them. Mark from Cambridge

XL was more like the size of a medium and did not fit the person I purchased the gift for. Compared to other XL underwear these are about two total or one inch on each side smaller than typical XL and button are required to just hold an XL male in if you know what I mean. I ordered Large too because I thought XL might be too big they were more like size small. Silk was VERY VERY thin and sheer not good quality. Very disappointed.
