Sizes tend to run a little small around the thigh, 34 waist and was practically cutting off circulation, exchanged quickly and efficiently with a size up and fit is great. These were a gift for my hubby. He loved the fabric, but they seem to run a little on the small side. I even went up a size. All his other boxer-brief and trunk styles are a M, I got the large based on the info here, and they were too snug around the thighs. The snugness caused the legs to roll up. Sending them back for a different style. The quality seemed excellent and he really liked the weight and feel of the fabric. Jessikate from Nebraska
