When buying this, I chose a size larger than I would usually wear because I've learned that european styles tend to run smaller than their american counterparts. The fit was fine, the elastic band did not leave a welt on my skin and even at the end of the day there was little excess fabric hanging unflatteringly in the rear which is a major plus in my book. My only complaint was that the rise of the item was higher than I would like but its mid-rise line did not make it look dorky. The construction of the crotch took me a little bit to get used to, positioning you into a narrow pouch at the bottom, yet it wasn't uncomfortable. Of all my buys, this is one I was pretty pleased with. It's not complex but still sophisticated, even sexy if you will, without being sultry. underare30 from TX, USA
