The 801B style XL boys brief is a perfect fit, unfortunately, Fruit of the Loom has replaced this with the 801AB which has slightly larger dimensions making it to large for this skinny boy. If you Taller than 5' 6" and have at least average sized legs then these should fit well. But if you are short and skinny then you may have to go a size down. I'm hoping the Large have been sized up some too. Snow

Very happy with purchase. At last, a way to get my 13 year old son to "upgrade" his underwear without an ugly scene in a public department store. Great for wives and mothers to push the "changing of the underwear" with pictures, reviews available and whining confined to the privacy of your own house. Everyone wins in the end. I'm now 18 and, Yes still very skinny, only weigh about 120 lbs, with a 27-29 waist. Anyway I have worn fruit of the loom boys white/colored briefs all my life and love them, They are comfy and durable and hold their shape. The mens size 28-30 are the same size as the boys 16 so I get the boys 16's. If you can get away with that little trick Which I do, it's fine. And it will save ya a few bucks. Youngyanksfan
