Thickness of the F1140 work sock makes it much more comfortable than a regular sock.

The things I like about these socks are: they're warm; they're thick; they feel almost cushioned when you put them on; and of course the size. I was so impressed that I offered them as Christmas gifts too.

My husband is really hard to please when it comes to finding socks that fit properly and wear well. The Wigwam F1140 Steel Toe Socks are everything a sock should be. They are extremely soft and comfortable, and hold their shape after numerous washings. The socks stay up, instead of "falling into a pile" around the ankle. We will be steady customers!
