I prefer the slimmer cut style (I think they call it a "bikini" style) for the fit, but the laundry rotation dictated a couple of new pairs pronto, so the more traditional "tighty whitey" cut had to do. For me, this brand can't be beat. I started buying Guy Laroche in the 90s because it was the only brand I could find that wasn't made in some sweatshop-filled 3rd world country; I figure that in Canada, the U.S., and western Europe there are at least labor laws and some enforcement (though right here in downtown L.A. there are sweatshops...once in a while someone gets busted). Anyway, the fit is phenomenal. I bought some Hugo Boss underwear a while back (my HB suit was made in Germany) to find that, not only were they made in Egypt (nasty repressive regime), but they were SO uncomfortable as to be unwearable. I don't like to waste money, but threw them out. It took a bit longer to get because of having to have them delivered (as opposed to running out to the mall), but the Guy Laroche stuff is the best fit and quality I've ever found. And, as an added bonus, they're not made by children and women working 14 hour days 7 days a week, guarded by creeps with cattle prods, like too many garments made by subcontractors in 3rd world countries.

I purchased these along with the boxer briefs and could not be happier. I would order in your true size as these are definitely bigger than a standard brief. Very comfortable.

The underwear briefs seemed nice and well sewed and put together. However they were a little bigger than 2XL I thought. I am wearing them anyway but I have to keep pulling them up which can be embarrassing.
