There's another aspect on these wonderful garments - and this also includes the Emporio Armani modal shirts - that bears mentioning: it's very important how these are washed and, particularly, how you DRY these.

Either hand-washed or a hand-wash/gentle cycle in the washer (and use Woolite) and - very important - must be dried with very low setting in the dryer. In fact, leaving them every-so-slightly damp would be best, so they can dry-out naturally without any heat. If they're over-dried (even once) it can ruin the elastic and/or the modal fabric itself.

These are wonderful. I'm not experiencing the concern of another review I've seen, regarding the elastic around the legs not performing to expectations; so that's not a factor for me.

These fit geat - I'm very thin and have a walk-in closet full of Giorgio Armani clothes - but have found the Large size of these to be best (though I've normally worn Medium-sized briefs), because they seem to lay on my body better (not really a 'drape', but similar idea).

The fabric is exquisite - soft and has a kind of shimmer in appearance; and the cut / design is perfect for those other athletic-fit, italian suits and trousers.

Beautifully made and finished these briefs fit well except the thickness and elasticity of the leg elastic was less than could be expected - Straight out of the dryer and for the next three hours they held everything in place,however the inevitable stretch that occurs after that was less than might of been expected from a $24 pair of underpants.
