I love the fabric and fit of these shirts. The fabric is very soft and just the right amount of stretch. I am 5'9", 175 lbs., size 40 short athletic, and the size large fits me perfect. They are fitted shirts so if you are in between sizes I would recommend choosing the larger size. I have no complaints about the length like I read in some other reviews.
