I am sorry that I did not notice and read the reviews before ordering. Though I wear pants that have 40 or 42 waist, the range for XL, the one I bought is way to small. The waist band stretches far enough, though very stretched, but the connecting bands are way too short so that the waist band is way down, like low rider pants. I shall not order the XXL, since I do not know whether it also will fit only way below the waist, but it certainly would have fit better than the XL. Maybe I should order the XXXL, but still would need to try it on, and I would not think of returning this particular item after trying it on. You need to order up a size, which is odd for a jockstrap, but XLs are usually just fine or a little big on me, but this one was WAY too tight. I suggest ordering one size up. I have large and xtra large. Large is a bit tight. Possibly the best supporter made. Good quality, supports well without binding. Leg straps stay in place with no rolling. Great for running and cycling. Dries quickly so it is good for swimwear that does not have a liner built in. For the price, can't be beat.
