Andrew Christian
Andrew Christian quickly set himself apart from the other prominent designers of his generation. Born and raised in Fresno, Andrew moved to LA at the age of 19 to pursue a career in fashion. Though he gained experience working briefly for other companies, Andrew always knew he’d have his own brand and an outlet to create his unique vision. Just out of high-school, Andrew launched his brand “Andrew Christian”.
Andrew produces contemporary collections of urban inspired menswear, swimwear, edgy tees, and accessories. Since its inception in 1997, it was Andrew’s innovative underwear designs that established the company as a force in the fashion world. Andrew’s designs can now be found in exclusive boutiques such as Kitson Men (Los Angeles), Fred Segal (Los Angeles), and Patricia Field (New York), to name a few.
One of Andrew’s best sellers is his line of great fitting "uber-trendy" printed and custom woven men's underwear. His styles are available in a range of styles including low cut, super-low-cut, and boxer briefs. Each style is intricately designed and utilizes innovative material such as bamboo fiber, sports mesh, and baby thermal. Andrew has recently introduced new technology and super soft eco-friendly fibers into his underwear. And, he’s the first to introduce Flashback - Butt Lifting Technology. With Flashback Butt Lifting and Contouring Technology, you create the illusion of having that much sought after “bubble butt” without having to waste hours in the gym. The construction of the underwear automatically lifts the buttocks making it look more firm and round.
2008 has already proven to be an exciting year for Andrew, who recently unveiled his first women’s line, introducing super soft underwear made from bamboo fiber. The fabrics made from bamboo are the softest in the entire collection. They have natural antibacterial agents and come from a renewable eco-friendly resource. Andrew’s women’s line was recently featured on an episode of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. Andrew was savvy enough to cast the Janice Dickenson Models to star in his edgy campaign, thereby earning himself a starring spot on the popular Oxygen reality show.
What started as a dream has manifested into a sensation complete with a world wide promotional campaign.
