I used to buy a brief from a company, and when they went out of business I was stuck again with awful choices... nothing out there to give support. These briefs do, although the wear and tear issue (from washing) could be addressed. Otherwise, a fine brief that supports yer, er, jewels where you need it and nothing else. I had not worn briefs in a very long time. I was sick of the ride up in boxer briefs and have tried lots of different manufacturers, but always experienced some ride up.
